Short Post or Long Post?
When I blog, I always try to put my wordcount at around 300. But since this is my personal blog, I seldom write long. Some of my friends say that long posts are too boring to read unless hell interesting. But when it comes to writing a review about other sites for which I get paid, I maintain a decent wordcount.
But the irony is that, I myself find it boring when an article is too long. Sometimes I don’t get that much time to go till the last line. And sometimes, even when I read the whole article, I would find not much valuable points. All the big articles that the advertisers are dying about seems just beacuse of the SE thingy. Since SEs love content, we need to provide content so that we get good traffic from them.
So, I still wonder whether I should start writing long in my personal blog as well. But, even if I start writing long, I would simply try to keep the wordcount below 300. I like short and simple anyway!
