I recently started a site and it ranked top in Google for many keywords related to the site. I use to get about 300-400 organic unique visits a day from Google alone. Suddenly, I saw that I got only 11 visits today in my Google Analytics Account. I checked if my site is still ok and I found it quite live and running. Now, I am wondering why such a drop in SERP has occurred?

I recently paid for some mass blog posting for this particular site and is this the reason why my site is gone from the search results? Or is it because of some other silly reasons or rules added recently with the new PR formula? I did submit my site to three social bookmarking sites – digg, sphinn and bonydo. I am wondering if submitting to Social Bookmarking sites also starting to affect the SERP of websites?? Well, right now I am reading about various reasons why I should suddenly disappear from the Search Results. I will see for a while though. But hope big G will not make my site disappear completely, at least.

I have heard of brain draining since a long time back. It means a highly qualified person from one country settling down and work in another country…..and I am sure Indians knows the definition the best. Till now, the trend continues….the best manpower from the country’s best institute like IITs and IIMs are recruited by foreign companies. I can say in fact the brain draining have grown to much larger extent but in a different manner with the coming of MNCs in India. And all these while we hear another MNC is coming to India with another branch. And who could be happier than Indians? All we can think is that with this, there will be tremendous increase in the employment in the country. And we cant blame them too…a decade ago people were crying for jobs after their studies…now people no longer are worried…because they have lots of opportunities. And they no longer wait for government jobs because MNCs are paying them large salary comparatively. This have led to the growth of metros in many parts of India, with all the BPOs, KPOs, IT companies from developed countries coming over to India with new branches.

Personally I see the drawbacks too. All these branches in India are supposed to be back up branches of MNCs from developed countries like USA and UK. That is why they are called BPOs and KPOs but Indians do not do only back up jobs…in fact, we do the most strenuous jobs.

They get the best manpower at the cheapest rate and a crowd which is ready to slog. It is believed that an Indian working in an MNC handles the work of 4 Americans or a Britishers working in the same firm. I have seen my friends who work in foreign investment banks and IT companies…even if their working hours is 9 per day, compulsorily they work for 12 to 13 hours everyday. And no one complaints, it is considered mandatory requirement of the job. The irony is that their counterparts in developed countries would not even stretch their work time by a minute! Moreover the salary Indian gets are far lesser than their foreign counterparts. Worst is when they don’t get Indian holidays…they still go to work on Indian Independence day….even after 60 years of independence I sometimes doubt whether we really are independent! I am sure if Indians stopped working for a week all the MNCs would not be able to carry on.

I feel now it is high time Indians should raise the issue to be treated the same way as their foreign counterparts. Now as a country India stands in par with the other superpowers. There is no need to scared…we are in a position to ask and not stoop low…our economy is booming…there is no reason to be scared….there are opportunities everywhere. Seriously I am waiting for the day when our foreign counterparts will get a holiday on Indian Independence Day. That way I can’t tell you how much I am proud of Mukesh Ambani!

I just added Bonyuts Photo Gallery into my website using Savdesign Auto Flash Gallery from Flash Nifties.

I have to search my whole hard drive to find nice pictures but that’s all I found for now. I will be adding more pictures and photographs soon as I like taking photos and making new designs. In fact, I often do freelance graphics designs for some of my old clients. After all, that’s how I started on the internet – freelancing website header and logo designs. So, this gonna be fun for sure!

My bad, just realized that it’s almost 2 months since I made my last post

Things proved not that good for the last couple of weeks as I had problems with my hosting servers and also had many smaller problems with my new internet marketing systems. I have been trying all sorts of new projects these days. One day, I even sat and tried to learn everything on CGI scripting. Of course, it was not that easy and I had to leave it for the next vacation.

I had to put some of my marketing campaigns on hold as well. But now, things are falling into place and I am almost ready to push the “go button” again. Hope the road is clearer this time.

I started promoting my affiliate offers through Google Adwords just about a week back. As you know, I am a nascent Adwords chap with no one around to guide me through all the proven and time tested steps and techniques which can lead me to instant Adwords Success. So, I am trying to learn most of things through Testing and Tweaking. I do refer many tips available here and there on the internet and started to participate in online forum discussion on Adwords. But I have to admit, this is a vast field and there are lot of possibilities and problems to be explored.

One thing I learnt in this whole one week of my Adwords Advertising journey is that, few things that work very well for others might not work for you, especially if you are newbie. Like, I have been reading a lot of famous books on Adwords recently and many of these top affiliates advocate on building huge keyword lists. But when I tried that during my first start off, I find it too difficult to maintain my Performance History. That’s because I haven’t yet mastered the art of writing extremely appealing Ad Copies and while my Ad Impressions increases at an alarmingly fast rate, people won’t even bother to click on my ads. So, the bottom line is, if you are an Adwords Newbie, try getting newbie help and don’t try to jump start anything too quickly. There is always room for an ambitious and aspiring newcomer. If you keep experimenting, who knows, maybe you stumble upon something that the Masters don’t already know about! Keep looking.

There is lot of money in the internet and there are so many ways to grab them. And mind you, some of these ways are so easy that you won’t even believe when you have done it yourself. Some ways are decent, some are black hat, but if you ask me what you should take up, I will always suggest the decent route. You can become a freelancer or a blogger to earn some 4 figure income in dollars per month. That’s easy and I sure you can do that in a matter of 3 or 4 months if you are serious and ready to learn. But when you start thinking beyond that, things seem to become a bit more complex.

I started out with affiliate marketing recently. To be more precise I am in the CPA line. It’s about a week now and I am still caught up with so many new problems and it’s hard trying to figure out what really works, especially when you have no one to guide you step by step. I have been scrapping all through the internet, working whole night till 7 am in the morning just to find out a few clues on how things are working fine for other marketers. It’s not that easy for a solo beginner like me but there is one thing I still believe, it easy to earn big time from this route. And just for a hint, I discovered something yesterday night, which I hope will be my first clue to wealth.
