My experience with Free Hosting
I developed my first site on a free host with a free subdomain. That’s how I learned about webmastering and now I have over dozen of sites. If you are also looking for some good free webhost, I wanted to give you my sincere recommendations.
Well, there are many web hosting companies which provide free hosting service. Some of them are quite popular and you might have already tried their service. To tell you the truth, I have tried almost all popular free hosting service. From Awardspcace to Phpnet.us, from bravenet to prohosts, almost every single free host that you will find in the any top free webhosting sites list.
I read quite a good review about the awardspace and their features are lovely. But once you set up your site there, you will see many downtimes. That’s the bad point. At phpnet.us, they use to give one of the best features with 80GB Bandwidth, but you will often see an advertisement when you visit your site hosted by them. But now they have taken the service of byet.net and things a changed quite a lot. One of the best I find is the 110mb.com. The server is fast and their support is great with a support forum, but they give out limited sign-ups. So, you have to watch their signup offers quite for while before you can jump into their community. Another great free host is the Prohost.org and byethost.com. They give free hosting services through the byet.org. They have very good quality free hosting and you will hardly see downtime and their email support system is quick at response. I like them. But they have introduced adds in their free hosting services and so that is a bit discouraging.
Anyway, the decision part is yours. If I have to rate them all, then I would say 110mb; Byethost prohost and phpnet at the same place, then all other webhost that will find anywhere. I don’t know about those which I haven’t yet tried by myself. So, if you want to get the best out of them, you have to try them one by one by yourself. Never go by the features that you see in their homepage, you will only be sure about their reliability only when you try them. Have a great day.
