Diary of an Adwords Beginner - I
I started promoting my affiliate offers through Google Adwords just about a week back. As you know, I am a nascent Adwords chap with no one around to guide me through all the proven and time tested steps and techniques which can lead me to instant Adwords Success. So, I am trying to learn most of things through Testing and Tweaking. I do refer many tips available here and there on the internet and started to participate in online forum discussion on Adwords. But I have to admit, this is a vast field and there are lot of possibilities and problems to be explored.
One thing I learnt in this whole one week of my Adwords Advertising journey is that, few things that work very well for others might not work for you, especially if you are newbie. Like, I have been reading a lot of famous books on Adwords recently and many of these top affiliates advocate on building huge keyword lists. But when I tried that during my first start off, I find it too difficult to maintain my Performance History. That’s because I haven’t yet mastered the art of writing extremely appealing Ad Copies and while my Ad Impressions increases at an alarmingly fast rate, people won’t even bother to click on my ads. So, the bottom line is, if you are an Adwords Newbie, try getting newbie help and don’t try to jump start anything too quickly. There is always room for an ambitious and aspiring newcomer. If you keep experimenting, who knows, maybe you stumble upon something that the Masters don’t already know about! Keep looking.
