I was thinking of creating an article directory but I wonder if the internet is already saturated of such sites. There are already many big article directories and some of them are quite popular and rank well in SEs as well. But I also see a lot of new article directories coming up. Does that mean there are still a lot of scope?

I have spent a lot of time thinking on name and I have already come up with a great one. But what confuses me is the design and approach that I should take in promoting my new article directory. If I start promoting it as yet another article directory in the internet, then it will simply become another log in the pile. I have already started a couple threads on this topic in some of the discussion forums where I am very active but I am yet to get any great tips.

Anyway, I should be able to think of some new approach soon and I will keep you updated on that too!
