Adsense and Text Link Ads
Well, I have been using adsense for quite a while but I am not able to generate much from it. For adsense we need good amount of traffic. SO, unless we get proper traffic, we are not in a level to earn a living out of it.
But there are many people in the internet who earn quite a lot out of Adsense. And after reading about them in online business news or in blogs, you maybe tempted to start an adsense venture. But remeber, for adsense trafic is the key. So, unless you have sufficient amount of traffic, better see for other advertising alternatives.
One of the best alternative is text link ads. You can earn a good amount from the text link business and the market will also remain un-saturated atleast for many more years as text link is the main factor of SE rankings.

The amount of money you charge for putting a link on your blog or site depends on the PageRank and Traffic of your site or blog. It is unfortunate that the rate has decreased a lot than it was a few months back.
Usually, a PR3 or PR4 blog-wide link may fetch around $15 per year to $3-5 per month depending on the traffic. The more the traffic you get the better amount advertisers will be wiling to pay for a link.
I would recommend you to go for “blogging for money” kind of thing like PayPerPost. That way you can earn upto $25 per post about an advertiser on a PR3 blog.
